Michelle Limpe is the Communications Intern for the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign this spring. She is a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she majored in Public Health Studies and Natural Sciences with a minor in Psychology. During her college years, she served as a research assistant for studies on long COVID and mental health programs and interned at a non-profit organization in the Philippines and a tech giant, which enabled her to develop her data analysis and project management skills. As part of the direct matriculation program with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, she seeks to find ways to alleviate the health inequities affecting marginalized communities in her future studies. She is also the current Editor-in-Chief of The Johns Hopkins News-Letter and has held various positions within the newspaper throughout her time at Hopkins.
Beyond her work, Michelle is always looking for ways to keep her mind and body active, whether through dancing, hiking, traveling, or journalling.
