Lindsey Miller-Voss joined the Shot@Life team in 2017 as the Communications Officer. In this role, Lindsey works to best communicate the mission and passion of the Shot@Life team, as well as provide tools to our advocates. Prior to working with the United Nations Foundation, Lindsey served a number of nonprofit development organizations and mission-driven startups.
Lindsey’s background is in business development & communications strategy with a focus on women’s and children’s education and entrepreneurship for inclusive security, global health, and community resilience. She has facilitated ideas in enterprise, collaborated with multicultural creative teams around the globe, and performed ground-level outreach. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, History and Public Affairs from Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina. Later she earned a Masters in Sustainable Development with a focus on Policy Advocacy from the School of International Training in Washington, DC. Her work has taken her from Honduras to Japan, to Thailand and beyond.
Living in the Washington, D.C. area, Lindsey enjoys taking full advantage of everything the city has to offer. She and her daughter can often be found exploring museums, visiting historic sites, and hitting up festivals.
