works to protect the rights, safety, and health of children everywhere. As an implementing partner, UNICEF reaches almost half of the world’s children with lifesaving vaccines through on-the-ground administration and investments in health system infrastructure. Globally, UNICEF has also been a leader in polio eradication campaigns in over 100 countries. During the COVID-19 pandemic, UNICEF has played an essential role in delivering vaccines to low and middle-income countries around the world.
