Lukia DeWitt Beverly is a pediatric nurse practitioner in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Virginia; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the University of Akron and is presently working on her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Old Dominion University. She is the co-owner of an independent internal medicine-pediatric practice where she splits her time between clinical and administrative duties. She serves as the co-chair of the Immunization Special Interest Group with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), Shot@Life Champion co-leader for Virginia and supports the work of various National, state and community organizations.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
