With nearly 30 letters to the editor pitched and 14 (and counting!) published pieces, Shot@Life champions were busy during this Race to Erase activation. The short and concise LTE format enabled champions to make the compelling case for global vaccine programs in local newspapers across the country.
And across the country is no overstatement. This fall, Shot@Life affiliates reached readers in 12 states, including Idaho, Minnesota, Florida, Tennessee, Maine, Iowa, and Virginia. One call-to-action in Washington State remained the most read LTE in the Auburn Reporter for multiple days following its publication.
