For the next few months, including during our 2020 Champion Summit, the focus of Shot@Life’s work will be to rally U.S. government support for and investment in Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance in advance of its funding replenishment in early June. Check out three posts to use on your social media channels to amplify our advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill during Summit. When advocates storm the Hill on February 25, make sure to spread these messages of support:
- On the 20th anniversary of @Gavi, we’re asking our members of Congress to fully fund the Vaccine Alliance so they can make #VaccinesWork for every child, everywhere. @ShotAtLife
- To reach children everywhere with lifesaving vaccines, we must strengthen health systems. @Gavi and partners like @UNICEF @WHO play a critical role. A fully-funded Vaccine Alliance will accelerate equitable access to immunizations & help us give every child a @ShotAtLife.
- 1 in 10 children around the world are still at risk from #vaccine preventable diseases. A fully-funded @Gavi will change this by increasing access to lifesaving vaccines. The U.S. gov, civil society, and private sector donors can help. Together we can reach #EveryLastChild.
