The annual Shot@Life Champion Summit is the campaign’s marquee event, bringing together volunteers from all different backgrounds to deepen their knowledge of global childhood immunizations and U.S. advocacy. The three-day gathering takes place in Washington, D.C. and culminates in meetings with Congressional offices on Capitol Hill.
The 2017 Summit, which takes place February 27 – March 1, celebrates six years of Champions. More than 100 volunteers from 34 states and the District of Columbia will be in attendance. Programming will feature speakers from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Unicef among others.
