We are excited to announce MAM’s support of Shot@Life’s Fifth Annual Blogust, the month-long digital dialogue that takes place every year during the month of August. During the activation, some of North America’s most influential bloggers take to their blogs on a specified day and ask their followers to comment on and share their posts. Every like, comment and social media share their posts receive (up to 40,000 throughout the month of August 2016) will trigger a donation from MAM to help provide a measles vaccine for a child in need. The end result is thousands of dollars to help kids around the world reach their fifth birthday thanks to the power of global vaccines.
“Measles is one of the leading causes of death among young children globally,” said Devi Thomas, Director, Shot@Life campaign. “With MAM’s support we hope to raise funding and awareness through Blogust to help vaccinate children against this deadly disease.”
While last year we celebrated happy and healthy firsts, this year during Blogust bloggers and Shot@Life Champions will share with their followers the story behind baby photos or videos of themselves, their kid(s) or a side-by-side comparison of important milestones – from first steps or first smiles to fifth birthdays.
“MAM works to promote healthy babies and we love seeing and hearing about important milestones in these baby’s development,” said Jennifer Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer at MAM. “Our partnership with Shot@Life for Blogust 2017 is the perfect combination of both.”
So, what can you do?
