Shot@Life is gearing up for an exciting holiday season! The world has made great strides to almost making the globe polio-free, but there is still work to be done. This holiday season, Shot@Life will be raising funds to support polio immunizations for the children who need them most in places like the Horn of Africa and Afghanistan. We wanted to share a few ways you can be a part of these efforts and give every child a shot at a life this giving season.
Top ways to get involved:
- Donate and Your Gift will be Matched – Donate to Shot@Life on #GivingTuesday, December 1, and double your impact. MAM, a baby products company, will be supporting children around the globe this #GivingTuesday by matching all donations made to Shot@Life, up to $25,000. You can also help to spread the message through our Thunderclap on Cyber Monday!
- Get A Shot. Give 2 Shots. – Get your flu shot, or any immunization, at a Walgreens between Black Friday and #GivingTuesday. As an extension of the Get A Shot. Give A Shot.® program, from November 27 to December 1, Walgreens will donate TWO life-saving vaccines for every immunization received in stores, up to $30,000.
- Feel the beat to beat polio? – Let’s dance because a world without polio is a world where every child can dance no matter where they live! Post a dance video or GIF on your social channels, tag your friends to dance, and give a small gift at Shotatlife.org/donate. Get involved in this easy and fun way to spread the word about the importance of helping children this #GivingTuesday.
- Shot@Life Pacifiers – Special this holiday season, MAM is selling limited edition Shot@Life pacifiers beginning December 1 and donating 100% of the proceeds to help children around the globe.
