Blogust is a first-of-its-kind blog relay for good that is bringing together 31 of the most influential online voices in the country to change the world through blogging. Each day throughout the month of August, one influencer will post about someone that inspires them and then “pass the baton” to another blogger for the following day. The twist is this: every comment on a Blogust post will initiate a $20 donation (up to $200,000*) to help immunize a child in a developing country. View the calendar!
You have the ability to make a real impact by joining the conversation. For every comment made on posts that are part of the relay, $20 will be donated to Shot@Life, to help provide a child in a developing country a lifetime immunity from some of the world’s deadliest diseases.* With just a comment on a blog, anyone can help save a child’s life.
UPDATE
The response to Blogust has been incredible. We reached our initial goal of 1,500 comments ($30,000 that was made available for this blog relay, which will now give 1,500 children a shot at life) by day 6! Thanks to you - and the remarkable response to Blogust - you've inspired an additional donor to make a generous pledge of $170,000 to this amazing blog relay and what it can achieve this month.
If you help us reach this new target, together we can provide life-saving vaccines to help protect a total of 10,000 children in developing countries against some of the deadliest diseases!
