A little more than 16 months ago, my wife and I welcomed our beautiful daughter Charlotte into the world. As doctors, nurses, family and friends poured in and out of the delivery room, my head raced with thoughts and concerns for the future: “Who will my daughter be?”, “Will she look more like me or my wife?”, and briefly, “Am I ready for this?”
