Paula Kiger believes her Twitter bio says it best: Wife of one, Mom of two, Friend of many. She has been a Shot at Life Champion since 2013 and a Shot at Life Champion Leader since 2014. Her experience with the Florida Healthy Kids program convinced her of the power of prevention domestically, and she feels strongly that all children worldwide should be afforded the same peace of mind and opportunities to thrive that children here in the US have.
Paula has traveled to Central America twice and had an opportunity to see first-hand the challenges faced by children and families in developing countries.
She currently works for Weaving Influence and the Lead Change Group and shares her views on the world via her blog, Perspicacity.
Paula has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. She is married and the parent of two teenagers. She is involved in many efforts at the intersection of fitness and causes, such as Charity Miles and “I Run for Michael.”
