Lori Harding is the Regional Self-Reliance Manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is responsible for the Employment Resource Centers in West Valley City and Tooele. She works directly with leaders to train and prepare 27 stakes in the Granger and Tooele Coordinating Councils to implement the Self-Reliance Initiative. She also leads 34 Service Missionaries to properly care for and serve candidates looking for jobs. Prior to this she worked for Zions Bank as a Vice President in several positions over a 21-year period. Most recently as a Commercial Loan Operations Manager and Transition Sponsor over collateral and insurance for 4 affiliates. One of her favorite roles was a Regional Sales Administrator where she was responsible for sales, marketing, training, product roll-out, and customer service at Zion Bank’s 38 Salt Lake region branches. She has previously served as the senior loan officer at Chevron West Credit Union and associate at WFG World Group Securities, helping families achieve their financial goals and dreams.
Additionally, she is a founder and dedicated member of the United Way Young Leaders group in Salt Lake. This group serves to connect young professionals who share a passion for advancing community solutions. She has been a past board chair and currently serves as a board member for the Adoption Exchange. She has also served as the treasurer of the Professional Republican Woman’s group. Lori attended Salt Lake Community College studying business, business administration, and management.
