Diane Glasgow has been a Shot@Life Champion since February 2013. She had the opportunity to visit the Philippines with Shot@Life and UNICEF in April 2015.
Diane is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) who trained English teachers in Thailand from 1973-1975. She met her husband Sam, who is a retired pathologist, at an IRS workshop in D.C. aimed at teaching individuals how to give free income tax help to the poor. They married in 1980 and have two children and a cat named Callie.
Diane is involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors including as a creative consultant at Stampin’ Up!, where she teaches people upscale cards and scrapbooks. She also teaches beginning Spanish at the Cookeville Senior Center and plays music with her husband at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Moreover, she also volunteers with the Upper Cumberland Clean Water Project and serves as the International Outreach Chair for the GFWC Cookeville Jr. Woman’s Club where she raises funds to support orphans in Lesotho and South Africa.
