Brian joined the United Nations Foundation as Senior Global Health Advocacy Manager, where he oversees government relations for the Shot@Life campaign. Prior to joining UNF, Brian served for five years in the health policy office of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), chaired by Senator Tom Harkin. In the HELP Committee he handled a portfolio of health issues that included global health, infectious disease, vaccine development, and biosecurity. Brian received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Trinity University. He earned his Master’s in Global Health Security from the American University School of International Service, complemented by core public health, biostatistics, and epidemiology courses through the George Washington School of Public Health. His research focused on implementation and evaluation of the International Health Regulations.
