The 2017 GFWC Annual Convention

This past week, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) held their 2017 GFWC Annual Convention, with clubwomen from all over the country convening in sunny California. Through Shot@Life’s partnership with GFWC –  one of the largest nonpartisan women’s volunteer service organizations in the world – Rebecca Maxie, our Manager of National Grassroots Strategy, was fortunate to have the opportunity to train more than 40 GFWC clubwomen representing 21 states as new Shot@Life Champions.

She also had the chance to present awards to our Top Fundraising Clubs from 2016. Below are the Top Five Clubs and the Top Five Lifesaver States for 2016. A big thanks to GFWC and all of our wonderful Champions for their hard work raising funds to ensure children in the hardest to reach areas of the world have better access to lifesaving vaccines!
